small white spot on lcd tv

hi friends i have a LG42LD460 in my native home. when i visited home i noticed a small white spot on centre of lcd tv.it appears only when tv is switch on. so what is this problem dead pixel or else.
 
ok guys i called up customer care,they sent a service guy he told me that they will replace the panel with new one. he told me to bring the LCD to service center, but as of now i am busy so i told him i will bring it in next month. because warrant is still up to NOV-2011. he also told me about an yearly package of service for 4500rs. i didn't enquired about it very much. so waiting for panel change.
 
yeah that likely to be a bad pixel, you are lucky that it sunder warranty, so get a new one :)
 
he told me that they will replace all of the items except power unit,because the new panel parts will not support existing parts:(
