"Smart" Power Strip

Hi,

I was wonder if the so called "smart" power strips are available in India and if so where. There can be very handy to save electricity for appliances as well as PC peripherals (speakers/printers/scanners).

Some of them can even be scheduled to cut off power at a scheduled time.

Come on folks..help me out here. Would rather spend some money on this and rest in peace then worry about PC doing a BSOD or some such nonsense during nite and not running the MTNL script.

scheduling a shutdown can be done thr PC too..
what else is smart in these?
