PC Peripherals Smart UPS Required

Planning to buy Smart UPS for my System.
Please suggest the right one from APC.
Someone says that 500VA is sufficient & some says not.
Processor : i7 - 920
Mother Board : ASUS P6TD V2
Graphics Card : EVGA GTX 260
HadDisk : 1TB WD
SMPS : Ultimate 900Watt
Cabinet : CM 932
Monitor : 22" Benq
 
No the 500VA will not be enuff as ur SMPS is really powerful. Check on the UPS site till what WATTS can the UPS handle. You'll need something that can power 1000Watt PSU. I have a powersafe 600VA with worked fine with all the plain cheap SMPS and CM 380W but as soon as I plugged in Corsair 750TX I couldn't even start the machine.

I'll have to go for a higher UPS to give my beast enuff power!

I am planning to go for 1.5 KV Smart UPS. But the problem is with cables. Where can I get C14-C13. My SMPS requires C19. And monotor C143. Will it be available in BLR or I need to make a setup to use my existing spike board.
 
well u can get a C14/c13 to indian socket cables and sockets in SP road.costs around Rs60.since i too have a smart UPS i got these conversion plugs from MX .one of the first shops in SP road entrance.

but not sure about C19.but if u already have a C19 cable then just use to C13 conversion plug and connect ur C19 cable,assuming the other end of the c19 cable is indian or US standard type plug.
 
Bought one APC 1000VA UPS last month, its working fine without any issues. I paid Rs 5850 for the same.

Yesterday I ordered 1.5 Smart UPS for 14900 + tax.........
And will be delivered to me on Wednesday as I will not in town till tuesday..........

May be I can chec with the same person, for C19 cable.
I can try for a SPIKE with C14 Input.......
If available then I can use all the existing connections with that.............
