@stormblast - 4 days without charging?! :O are you serious? i know it has a huge 1500mah battery but i never thought it could last 4 days. is this on light or heavy usage?

medium usage. 3n half days into usage & 2 bars still left. i think itll last till tomorrow afternoon which will make it 4 days.

techhead who is a heavy user is getting 3 days out of the phone easily.

even in the reviews its mentioned with heavy usage of wifi music etc u can easily get 2-3 days.
 
n82 build quality is top notch ..even it may look plastic .. as i said i dropped mine on several occasions on hard surfaces and it survived alright ..:hap2:

i was looking for a phone like n82 since june 2007 .. and always knew it would be a gem. e71 looks like a calculator to me :rofl:

n82 battery is quite good .. cant believe e71 lasts that long with wifi ..if it does then nokia must have done some optimisation in soft also,not just large battery .. and it is not, as if u charge ur phone and go to jungle for 2 days so that u need 3 days of battery life .. hee hee ..

anyways , jokes apart.. n82 is best all round phone till date .. and e71 looks to be a fantastic business phone .. u cant go wrong with any ..
 
Out of the box the very first time I used it I downloaded around 400 mb of data out of this phone in one single day by using EDGE, was using it as a modem for around more than 10 hours constantly, still 4/5 or so marks of battery was left.

This is unthinkable for any other phones I have previously used, max 2-3 hours of using others as a modem, battery comes back to 50%.
 
can someone post images and video samples of this two babies n82 and e71.. to decide which one i could go for.... even a link would do... gsmarena review pics doesnot seems dependable.. always click at the best of the conditions....

thanks for the link buddy... checked it out.... i must say i am not impressed with the photo quality.. its bluish and digitised... does all other feel the bluish tinge??

i going this weekend to check out demo for both n82 and e71... i might pick one up immediately if i liked it beyond resisting... else will pick up next weekend when my pockets would be much fuller... ;-)

in the mean time can anyone tell whether all applications for n82 will run on e71..???

also for the n82 holders.... can i set my gmail mails to recieve through n82 email option... coz that's the only option i would be using for emails that is... any third party softwares will also do..???
 
went with my uncle over to alpha...he also needed a phone..

i picked up the n82 while he quickly grabbed the e71 (Qwert keys being the reason)...

so i can exchange with him the phone when needed... HAPPY...

will tell ya the experiences later... ;-)

What are the prices in Alfa for the E71 and N82?
And also N95 classic in case u had a look?

congratulations neo ..:hap2: now pls dont tell anyone how good it is :p so we few people can enjoy this gem of a phone ..:)
