How does a missing power cord make it a case of loss of warranty ? Are power cords not available locally ? Was that offer not made ? Its not about Dell changing the purchase date ... it is the law of the land that does not permit, do you even know we have to pay tax based on the sales of a month? do you know if a discrepancy is found even of Rs 1 it is considered a criminal act ?
To NAG and his supporters, no one is making a logical or reasonable suggestion. We're done with this case.
Yes a mistake was made, Yes it was admitted to. We offered to fix things however, unreasonable demands were made and we can not adhere to those demands.
Request the mods to either cleanup this thread or decide the course of action when the issue was not even on this forum, the other forum has already cleared the issue.

I raised the premium panel warranty on July 26 when there was no response from July 22 and I lost any hopes of a quick resolution.

Since you are such a stickler for propriety, you should have taken the monitor back, and then either refunded or shipped another monitor with ALL the accessories. In fact, I made the offer on July 27.

I paid for the complete package, including the power cable.

Even though no offer was made to reimburse for the power cable, I tried other cables available locally--none fit--I live in a small town, so limited availability.

I just cannot believe the attitude of this guy or the previous guy. Lies after lies. You can see more of them in the reference below.
