QD was kinda small in size and the keypad was not as spacious as the keypad of N-GAGE so comparatively N-GAGE was better and faster than QD for msgin...and for playin games also...i used 2 play THPS a lot with a friend through bluetooth.....
 
Draz asked for a sms friendly fone so that means he would b msgin a lot and the 6600 uses the BL-5C batt so using bluetooth too much might drain the batts quiet easily so i wudn't recommend that....

it wud b better to go for a 6233 and use a bluetooth keyboard 2 send messages as the 6233 uses a 1100mAh battery and the keypad itself is gud enuf to type the msges ...
 
I think if u can use t9 then e50 will be the best for smsing...
the keypad is perfect, and the phone is long , narrow and thin, which makes it very comfortable to hold and type....

also as per regard to BT keyboards/qwert , I think these are more for people who want to do email , or office docs on the go... when u just have 160 chrs to play with, I think T9 is more then enough..
even then If u wanna a qwerty then go fr e61/62
