I dont think any film this days are flop.....there is lot of money in this business...and most important stuff here is u cant say how much a person earns or will earns....

DO u guys know phir hera pheri was a bigger hit than original hera pheri.......Also seeing collections RGV ki aag wasnt a supper-dupper flop.....They earn alot in merchandise, overseas rights, satellite rights....thats the reason om shanti om before releasing already had earned srk 75 croroes prfit so far

ALso ppl says traffic signal a flop......But madhur made 7 crores frm the 3 crores he spended on it....and thats what it counts unless u work with biggies

And regarding films like jhonny gaddar, khosla ka ghosla, bheja fry and all..this all movies are made within a limit budget and they earn 200-300% profit...5 crores movie earns 15 crores ard all over plus..

Regarding loops.......as its said on wikipedia.....jhonny gaddar used machines for note counting and as this machines throw fake currency out.real notes worth 25 lakhs were used......anyways but if such machines detect fake notes how come the fake note plot can be added in film(or even i knew machines can detetc fake notes than why that plot was added)....

Also the killing of vinay wasnt justify according to me....as killing shradul by them would had easily be a easy road for Neil(vikram in the movie)....Neil killin vinay was like he having soft corner for shradul(who was rimmis husband looks satire to me)

i would say.good direction, good editing.......but if they would had taken care of such goofs in story i would have kept in my collection...for me its a one time watch movie.....will still rate bluffmaster better than this.......since it being more on comic side(so goofs-loops are expected)

**Replyig after reading intial few posts**

Czar not only watched the movie but made my sis and few other friends watch the movie... It is one of the cult movies which has come out...

Can easily compare the movie to Khosla ka ghosla,Bheja fry and the likes... The starting of the movie is awasome and so is the ending... The photography and direction are just about perfect and the acting by all the guys in the movie is excellent including the new boy... Only let down was dhrmendra's acting which is exactly opposite to what he says in the movie "its not the age... its the mileage..."

I am generally fond of old comedy movies like Jane bhi do yarron... Golmal... Andazz apna apna... And this one too makes it to my collection :)...

This was with me for almost a month but never bothered to see it, and the reason i didnt watch it was because i never heard of the movie before, luckily watched this movie just a couple of days ago and loved every moment of it, specially Dharmendra's character. Man!! with proper promotion etc. this movie could have been a big hit,

Cant say for sure about the note counting machine...they come in various types..and i'm not sure if all of them can detect fake notes...thts something which can be passed off..

As for the killing of Prakash (Vinay Pathak), it was completely justified, bcos, 'Vikram'(Neil Mukesh) knew that when they call Shaardul to that secluded place, Prakash wud question Shaardul about fake notes, and since Shaardul takes the fake notes from Vikram, he wud blame Vikram and his crime wud be exposed in front of both, Prakash and Shaardul...So he has to kill Prakash before he cud talk to shaardul... the fear of getting exposed makes him kill Prakash...he had no soft corner for anyone...nor did he want to kill anyone..but situations and the fear of getting exposed makes him kill those who came to know about it. ;) I dont see any problem with that part of the plot...:hap5:

Well ryan yup your point is valid but if neil kills shardul at the point he reached the spot before any justification than its would had been easy journey(also prakash wont get the point since he also needed sharduls blood)..i would say the path neil took in movies were more on wrong side than favouring him....Also when Neil said to dharam u went there to station at the very point i caught him if he is shown so wise with tricks he did for goa/pune journey...why he did foolish stuff and gets trapped .....anyways i m going more on silly side i guess this film deserve applause more than what i m after it.........Anyways i guess again ill watch the movie to enjoy the direction and editing this time

But regarding note counting machine the one which was showed in movie was hi tech which can detect i m sure......and thats why its said on wikiped...they used 25L real cash while shooting that scene.....

Btw saw partner last night and it was full of loops(all stunts of salman were done by doubles complete bad direction i can easily see the face of the guy and many more ..so i would say this one is much better

i am sick of read movie review :S

hey why are u crazy fan of movie

btw this is only movie what is shooting adn take and big superstar :P

act like lame one

*Spoiler*!!!

Guys, please dont spoil it for others who havent watched the movie!!

Mods please put the **Spoiler** alert in the thread.

uh.. Seems to be a good movie ...
I'll make it a point to watch it..

But yeah, good films ain't commercially viable..
Take Anbe Sivam for example.. Was loosely based on Planes, Trains & Automobiles.
Kamal Haasan and Madhavan were superb in the movie.. Didn't do well commercially. If you ppl haven't watched this movie yet, grab the DVD and watch it with subtitles. Damn good I say! :cool2:

PS : This stuff happens only in India (read bollywood)

I started watching it this morning thinking I'll watch 10 mins at a time when I am bored of studying. ended up watching the whole movie.

Oh man !! Brilliant !! All the actors have done such wonderful jobs !!

Saw it a month back after reading this thread but didnt want to bump an old thread. Since someone else has done it, I can as well add my comment :).

Brilliant movie. I think there couldnt have been a better end to it. The loop has to complete.
