so who else has watched Johnny Gaddar?

Watched it a month ago on rent, I loved it. Looking at the cover on the DVD I thought the reason it didn't run was because it was Bolly's take on Sin City.

But it was good, very good watch.
 
Got the DVD today. The fonts and graphics and stuff are indeed similar to Sin City.
Also imo, the movie was on par with Sin City.
 
Well, apart from the starting title work and the film noir style, thr is nothing common between sincity and Johnny gaddaar...:P

But Johnny Gaddaar was a gr8 caper thriller...:ohyeah: Still it didnt do well..:no:

Now compare JG to OSO...:rofl: I cant believe tht a movie like OSO can become the highest grosser in the history of bollywood..:rofl:

it says a lot about the taste of movie goers these days...:P
 
^^ Good movies aren't released to many screens, and yea, people who actually watch good movies are decreasing. Its sad that masala movies still rule in india :(

As for the killing of Prakash (Vinay Pathak), it was completely justified, bcos, 'Vikram'(Neil Mukesh) knew that when they call Shaardul to that secluded place, Prakash wud question Shaardul about fake notes, and since Shaardul takes the fake notes from Vikram, he wud blame Vikram and his crime wud be exposed in front of both, Prakash and Shaardul...So he has to kill Prakash before he cud talk to shaardul... the fear of getting exposed makes him kill Prakash...he had no soft corner for anyone...nor did he want to kill anyone..but situations and the fear of getting exposed makes him kill those who came to know about it. I dont see any problem with that part of the plot...
 
i have seen the movie just on the day of its release and i really found is ok ok movie. the direction is gud. action and action is also gud. the guy neil nitin mukesh is quite a stuff for bollywood in respect to new talents. over all the movie i rate is 8/10. nice attempt.
