Hmm.. I OCed my pII 233 to 466 once. It booted too, tho 3DMark2001 did not run. No cooling, nothing. It was actually me just fooling around trying to see what that multiplier setting did (this was 5-6 years ago).

i did 2365 (215x11) on mine 2500+ barton on A7N8X deluxe ...... with stock voltages ..... i think i can take it to 2.5Ghz with some more voltages but with thermaltake kooler temps were in the wrong side of 60*c on full load ..... once in summer time i touched 89*c with stock kooler and the comp was just working fine then i started UNDGND and it hanged .......

True, Its not ur current hardware that counts but what you extract out of it (performance) by being bold and experimental that matters.

hey deejay from where u got that clock crystal coz it was very difficult finding that one in india ...... if i am not wrong the speed can be increased upto 7 mhz using the crystal method .....

just wait for few days. I aquired a barton 3200+ and a7n8x to perform experiments of extreme cooling. Will post my results this weekend mostly. Chilled water experiments to start with
This system is like guineapig to perform experiments on before i give it a shot on DFI :ashamed:

got it from my friend. Its not new. 2nd hand.
CPU was given to me for 2K. Was bought in US last year.
I got it to perform experiments.
Dont wana blow or reck the DFI directly :hap5:
