^^Yeah, whatever. Fact remains, Socket A AXP >>> Shiterons!

:bleh:

Note : The above was posted in jest.. I love you all, no matter what CPU you have, yes.. even the two of you in the back still running P2-333s...

I am not running my p2-233 anymore.
Me bought a a64 since then...
But don't you think my 100% OC was damn cool?

Hey Techhead, you using that modded bios I posted about?

My 2000+ doesn't wanna oc much beyond 2.1ghz.Even 2.1 comes at 1.75v.

Currently at 9.5x211@1.7v(booted at 9.5x218 but wasn't prime stable).Could have managed 9x225 easily but the KVR333 256mb stick won't boot with that bus speed, the 768mb d43 takes it in its stride at stock voltage.

I plan to perform atleast a 50% overclock on the 64-bit Sempron(provided new steppings are released or else its the 2600+ S-754 that will go from 1.6 to 2.5 in the blink of an eye!) within a month or so.

BTW,the Corsair Value Select with micron chips is the ram to get in the states ,right?

^^ Corsair valueselect doesnt use micron chips. Its generally elpida/infineon/mosel. Its crucial value that does have micron mt -5bg/mt -5bc/mt -5bd chips(based upon size). These will do 250MHz at tight timings with fairly low voltages(2.7-2.9).

Hell yeah! 1010ModX2.. awesome BIOS. Many thanks for posting it! I'm at stock VCore yet.. 1.65V!! New result - 226FSB! My Sandra memory scores are 3100 or so..I lucked out with some original D43 this time.

Hmmm...my personal best is a 2532MHz 230x11 with VCore 2.0V :O

stable at 2421MHz 220x11 VCore 2.00V...max temps after 6 mins of prime touched just 50* :D scored 9800 in Sandra arithmetic.....

^^Hehe.. that means he OCd your AXP from 1466Mhz to 2300Mhz, a gain of 833Mhz! Awesome! JIUHB stepping?

:p

naa.. that 1700+ i had (which is now with Shruti) cudnt do more than 2200MHz :D

My old barton 2500+ wud do no more than 2340MHz.. :D

But the real champion wud be apollyons 1800+ DLT3C JIUHB i guess.. lets wait for him to post here. .D:

Tbred-Bs esp. the 1700+ to 2000+ versions which had the stepping code beginning with A ,were very good oc'ers.AFAIK A=High-end Tbred-B and D=low-end Tbred-B.

axp 1800 dlt3c jiuhb @ 2424 @ 1.7v...rock steady...temps - load - 60-65, idle - 50-52...stock hsf :)
booted at 2.5ghz too, but sisoft was unstable...cpu is with dark now, mobo is in my internet machine running a dut3c kixib 2000 @ 1.8ghz @ stock vcore
