anyone willing to give lend a 2 series card for sometime in mumbai i can test & putup some results.
i'll try it out if someone guides me...
i have a 2900xt, have downloaded rivatuner 2.06 and the fire gl drivers....NOW what? any step by step instructions for a noob?

I seriously intend not to have a profile on every forum ever created on the internet, but anyway I looked around and this one looks like an interesing one, with people actually using computers for something useful, not just for playing games or, even worse, running benchmarks
(by the way, I saw some things some of you have done, and they are good!!)
yet it's being a bit of a cultural shock: I don't know how much a K is in euros or dollars, and I'm surprised by some things I see around here (there's a hell of inequity around here, with people buying cheap parts I had never heard about, and also people buying $600 gaming graphics cards to replace their 6 month old parts...)

hyeah:I have tried the XP64 FireGL mod.
Its simple and it works.
Ran both Max and Maya. The card carries heavy polys exceptionally well, except the fact that the ridiculous poly selection bug is still present with Maya.
Oh and rejoice guys coz Max does not seem to have that issue. Max runs fine. If any of you have any scene that you want me to check, just let me know.

BTW, mnemonics quoted 7k+ for the sapphire 2600pro, so I got the GeCube for 4.8K
2600pro 256mb sapphire is available for 4050 @ lamington btw.
