Soft. to Help Label Diagrams in a tutorial

Hi Guys

As we know a tutorial is incomplete if there are no pictures to assist it.

Suppose i want to add this sort of labeling

like this

Is there any software which can help me do this.

I had seen some software but dont know where exactly.

Any help wud be appreciated

Dont tell me to use paint or photoshop as it’s a pain to create so many lines

and take care that they are drawn properly.

Google sketchup is a good tool.....but mostly for very simple 3d

I dont want 3d , just label the images which i use for writing tutorials.

I am not looking for paint , gimp or any image editing softwares , there are software applications for showing arrows , pointers , boxes etc...

word / ppt can do that, but visio is the advanced version of that

+1 for smartdraw. you can even integrate it with ms office

AFAIK, you can do that pretty easily in word/OOo. Just use the draw tool.

Open Office Draw is also a good alternative. I found it faster than the built in drawing tools in MS Office. Not used visio or smartdraw. But have heard of the features by smartdraw. Do check that out too.
