Software to Share Internet in LAN

Hi All,

How do i share my Internet Connection.

Situation.
There are just 2 PC's
OS - Windows

1st PC having 2LAN cards , on 1 Internet comes in , the 2nd Lan card is conected to the 2nd PC through cross crimped cable.

2nd PC having 1LAN card , on this we want internet shared by the first PC.

How do i setup this.

Also i have a 150Kbps connection on my first PC
- Suggest me a software that will help me control the BW to be shared
with the 2nd PC , and also allow me BW monitring.[Eg i want each other
PC where i share my net to get just 40Kbps]
- Also time limit for sharing [optional & according to clock]
- Also IP address assigining , so that only a particular user gets it and
others who are not supposed to get dont get it.

Hope you are getting what i am trying to ask you.

Is Proxy server the solution , if yes suggest me a good lite proxy server
with the above mentioned features.

yup proxy server is the best soln..in my opinion.. there are other threads too answering almost same question.. there u can use inbuilt internet conection sharing..try that first..if not working proxy is the solution..
i hav used only winproxy..google it...:) no time to give u link
