Software to Translate German text to english.

Hey ppl,
My dad needs a software which will translate German text into english.He needs it to translate the manual of a machine which his company has recently purchased..he will be scanning the entire manual and getting it home..and then i got to translate it...
so will that be possible?

You could also try Power Translator 11 , not free though

thx for the quick reply guys...
actual regarding the above reply..its not urgent..i can take my time of arnd 2-3 days..but he wants the translation to be as perfect as possible since its a manual of a machine i am translating..Any mistake could prove costly :bleh:

If he's got a translation budget, I can help him hire a German translator. No automated/free translation comes close to manual, but manual doesn't come free or cheap
