Final bump.
Getting used to the glossy screen so I don't mind keeping it.
Wish I got a IPS monitor earlier, did not realise IPS was so much better than TN esp for movies/games. Never going back to TN.
 
Don't place the monitor against any light source.. Just change your seating arrangement and you will be just fine with this monitor.. I am using the same monitor myself..
 
Can i use this as a dual monitor since i already have a Dell 22inch ips monitor. Query asked since it does not have a hdmi cable.
 
It has a VGA & DVI connector. I don't really know about dual monitors, but it should behave like any other monitor that has VGA+DVI. Since monitors with HDMI ports were not common until recently, I guess it can be used in dual mode.

^ Just bought 2 of Dell S2340L i don't know what that L / M stands for though the monitors looks the same to me. I agree its glossy, which makes better at colorful stuff but if you have any dark scenes in a movie & you have lights on in your room you will see your reflection on the screen which is a bit distracting. other than that these are awesome monitors.

L - HDMI with 2 channel audio out (3.5mm) , M - DVI. Thats the naming for the 2240 models.
