Was just going thru the prime site nd saw some sweet new stuff...

they have the Galaxy 8800GT in stock for - 14500/-

XFX 8800GT - 16,200/-

XFX 8800GT Extreme - 17,160/-

XFX 8800GT XXX - 18,200/-

They also have this banner on the home page which says that they'r gonna be having NZXT Cases coming soon.

P.S - If mods think this amounts to advertising, please bin the thread.
 
since the 8800GT is a COOL ! card ...temp and features wise u can easily OC ....so imo the galaxy seems to be a better bang for the buck

Galaxy8800GT (stock) : Core 600MHz Mem: 1.8GHz

XFX 8800GT: same as galaxy stock

XFX Extreme: Core 640MHz Mem: 1.9GHz

XFX XXX: Core 670MHz Mem:1.95GHz

all the XFX 8800GT/GTS models sport a new name "ALPHA DOG EDITION" on the boxes ...i saw this on their website

Aren't all initial stocks of new cards reference design- just a change of label and/or fan?? :P
If Galaxy is reference design and 14.5K locally , then lotsa peeps got pwned. :ashamed:

Seems like i had the right info from one distro- 15K in India for the 8800GT- XFX as usual will launch at least 7 models and price them higher than others.
 
man, damn good prices for these 8800GTs, i hope they are the 512MBs and not 256MB which some 8800GT were supposed to be.
 
If you notice the main banner it says that NZXT cabinets are coming soon - any PRIME insider know when they are likely to arrive?
 
heh, silverstone cabbys were supposed to come months ago but i still get the line 'they are coming soon' :P

P.s - Just noticed.. take a look at the forum banner.. it has the name in TAMIL!! now thats a first... a tamil tech forum :P :P that too wid a ganesha for a logo :D

We visited couple of forums where users rae complaining about first batch of boards from BFG, PNY and EVGA. But in truth, we're facing the reality of mass production and these companies probably have highest allocation - so problems were bound to strike them first. µ

And it seems at least the Galaxy ones are reference cards. :P

COmplete crap. The idiot spreading that FUD got banned by Kyle at the [H].. Kyle called up some videocard reps, and they said it is NOT TRUE...
