PC Peripherals Some Que's on new rig ?

Hey guys,

I am buying a new rig soon after a long wait.

The Budget is 35k-36k.

This is what i have in mind.

Motherboard- Gigabyte G31 S2L-2.2k

Porcessor- C2Q Q6600-9k

Ram- 2gb Transcend 2gbx1-1.7k

GPU-? (confused between 9600gso/9500gt/9600gt)

OD- Samsung 22x -1.1k

HDD- Seagate 500gb SATA-3k

CABINET- ZEBBY BIJLI - 1k

PSU- (confused on this 1 toooo btw budget for this is 1k)

MONITOR- Need a 19' monitor for the remaining 10k(anything bigger will be good :|)

Which is the cheapest 9600gt availble in the market? ;)
 
Intel E7200/7300 -- 5.9/6.25

Gigabyte GA-EP31-DS3L --- 3.2k

If u go wiht this u can save atleast 2k...with that u can buy a goood psu(or adding a couple of k'z...u will get corsair vx450)

And gpu ....Ati 4670!!!

Monitor ---- dell 19'' SE198WFP --- 9.75k

Abt cheapest 9600gt ...i think its Palit 6.5k(not the sonic edition)

GPU.. go for the 4670

PSU - glacialtech would be fine, there are some other brands too. have not used them. Alternatively, look in the TE market
 
BTW....The 9600GSO from Zotac at 5.8k would be a better opion according to me. Always invest ion a GPU very important for the life of your parts like HDD, GFX card.
 
^why 9600gso for 5.8k if i can get a 9600gt at 6.1k??

afaik 9600gt is 1.5x faster than 9600gso

correct me if i m wrong

plzz suggest the PSU and a 19" monitor buy date is getting closer :(
 
Q6600 is an old Quard based on 65nm process. Unless u are int 3d animation a newer core2duo will be better.

9600GT is better than 9600GSO.

Also u should get better PSU eg VX450. You do not want your investment to go in smoke. Go at least for Cooler Master extreme power. All forums are flooded with PSU issues.

u can slack on the lcd for 19" and invest in vx450 which is much better.

get the 9600gt amp edition from zotac...worth it.

if ur primary need is gaming and some moviez then a 19" would be fine. 22" shud be preferred only if u r much into moviez. 9600gt would handle 1440 res with ease.

nothing worth 2k will do the job??

and the GIGABYTE G31 mobo has only 2 ram slots if i get 1gbx2 then future upgrade to 4gb will be a lot more costiler....wont it be ?? ;)
