Sony Announces Water-proof Xperia Go and Xperia Acro S
Sony has announced two new additions to its Xperia lineup , the Xperia Acro S and Xperia go . These phones feature a scratch proof mineral glass over the displays and are water-proof .
Both Phones cover IP57 rating requirements for dust and water resistance which means that phone is protected against dust and can survive short water immersions ( upto 30 min ) in shallow water ( upto 1m ) .
Xperia Acro S -
The Xperia Acro S packs a 4.3" HD screen with 720p resolution , it is covered by a reportedly shatter-proof, scratch resistant glass of unknown make and it supports the wet finger tracking technology, similar to the one seen in Xperia Active before .

The Xperia Go will have 3.5" display with 480x320 resolution , it will be powered by 1GHz dual core processor with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage . It will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread ( upgradable to ICS later ) .
