more like went into a minefield with a map and went and stepped purposely on the first mine they could see on the map.
 
I don't really have a problem with the dead goat. What I do have a problem with is how is it any way relevant to the game itself? Why a goat? I don't recall ever fighting a goat in GOW. Maybe its just a metaphor for all the death in the game, perhaps.
