Its not, 410, 510, both are dual core atoms, and are equally competent to pentium DC range of 3 years back.

but its too sluggish on Atom proccy
I am using a Samsung N128 on Win 7 Ultimate 32bit with a measly 1GB RAM and the netbook does everything faster and zippier than it did on Win XP previously. I'd say, do a fresh OS installation of Win 7 (whatever edition your netbook came with) and use the key which was supplied with the netbook.

A majority of the hardware drivers (audio, video, chipset, onboard ethernet controller) are pre-installed and you require installations for the touchpad (Synaptics perhaps), OSD, WiFi etc).

Vaios come with a lot of bloatware by default, so a clean install of windows7 will solve your problem.

so it wud be like again windows starter edition rite?

I am using Win7 Ultimate - 32 BIT on my N450 - 1GB Acer Netbook.

Yes it is not super fast, but it does what I want. Not sluggish. Of course Aero Peak is disabled by me. The hardware compliments the OS fine...!

This is recommended for all OEM installed OSs on systems. Best to get rid of all the crap junk.

Guys able to find all the drivers... now xp works fine.. now i need some software to activate the FN key in keyboard to increase/decrease brightness / volume etc...
