PC Peripherals Sound card below Rs.3000

Hey,
I took the Roccat Kave true 5.1 Headphones a month ago...
I do not feel much of a difference from the LX-3000 to these ones...

So I had opened a thread regarding this here: http://www.techenclave.com/pc-perip...ftware-enhances-sound-170327.html#post1559614

But it did not get much replies...
Now I have Rs.2500 in my pocket, and was thinking of taking a Sound card if there is no Software enhancement possible...
Can stretch to Rs.3000 , But if I'm missing a good sound card by a little money, I can wait a little time till I collect some more money...
But Rs.5000+ is out of the question for now...
I have X58A-UD7, So the sound card must be better than that...(Much better, else there is no point in buying it...)

Plz suggest me some sound cards...

OP,

I have connected my Roccat kave's with X-Fi titanium.
If you want you are welcome to audition this combo & see if you find any difference between onbaord & x-fi sound card.
Accordingly you can decide if you really need a sound card or not.

BTW , I too stay in thane.

i connected my speakers(Altec lancing MX 5021) to on board and using with srs audio sand box (audio booster) software but now i changed my OS to win-7 in that srs is not working so i'm looking for sound card at below 3 k ,is x-fi titanium makes changes with good equilizer.

Xfi Extreme music, Xfi Xtreme gamer @ around 2-3.5k.........orXonar Dx @4k odd are good options.
I thougt i saw a HT omega claro in the market section cheeck that too.

Even a basic audigy value 7.1 has noticable diffference in SQ than onboard realtek
