PC Peripherals Sound Card Suggestions needed

Hi All,

I am presently using Xonar D2X, facing some problems like,

1) Like all sound card it by passes the mobo on board sound , but more over also by passes the front audio/microphone jack
2) Also it requires an extra power which is sorta tends to get loose, as read online its due to bad design of the product itself.

So want suggestions on Sound Cards from people who are using them.

I use it for music and movies primarily, followed by Animation and Games. I know mobo sound ports would get bypassed but if front audio jacks atleast stay alive then atleast i can use headphones for late night gaming with no one shouting at me for shooting bullets .

My audio is 2.1 Klipsch and headphones are Steelseries 7H

Also should be available in India or atleast Indian warranty, and should have good support on driver end.

Paras i was looking at the same

I wanted to understand... does STX bypasses front audio?

Reason being I want both speaker n headset to be operational together

Update:

i have been googling i found out something interesting called as Sound Switch

its simple app which can switch your audio between the external audio devices on click of button.

more over i have to test at home there is also an AudioSwitch gadget which one can place on windows Sidebar and can also be used to switch sound outputs.

So its like assign keys like Ctrl+F1 for headphones and Ctrl+F2 for speakers
