+ 1 for Creative Audigy Value, it is good then your On-board sound

Reason :-

Good Audio processor.

Have dedicated AOD, DOA convertors.

Have nice op-amps for good deapth and richness of sound.

Can do a Software mod, Convert your Creative Audigy Value to Creative Xifi and get some nice sound upgrade.

Ur mobo, MSI 890GXM-G65 uses ALC889 audio chipset which is >/= the audio processor of Audigy value...

In terms of audio quality, u wont hear a diff.

But EAX benefits u a bit..

IMHO audigy value is not worth the 1.5K to replace ALC889..
