Doctore doesn't seem like the guy to kill Gannu. He's the doctore and always must behave. I think they either run away or both get killed by some other force.

yeah.. after watching the first season.. i feel gannu was not worthy of the champion of capua.. crixus was way better..

Gannicus doesn't die, but Mellita does. This information is according to the interview with the creator. Historically Gannicus is one of Spartacus' general in the Third Servile War, so he should survive somehow. And also the actor who plays Gannicus has been confirmed to have a part in Season 2, so I'm sure he won't die.
