Reliance JIO has introduced three 4K smart TV which are 65", 50" and 43" size.
The TV boasts of superior A+ panels from LG and run android 4.4. Besides the 4K panel the Hardware is a MTK5508 chipset which is a dual core Cortex A17 running at 1.3GHz. RAM is 2GB and ROM is 8GB. User available memory after first boot is left to be seen. The TV besides the usual connectivity options comes with 2 USB 2.0 ports and 1 USB 3.0 ports. The TV also comes with a IR remote and a AIR remote.
The TV are priced at 1,59,900 for 63", 69,900 for 50" and 55,900 for 43". All TV come with 2 year warranty.
I checked out the 43" model which was available, and the picture quality seemed to be pretty good even though it was not running 4K content. So in case one is in the market for a LED, LYF TV can be considered as they are almost at par with prices of samsung and LG which only offer Full HD in this pice range.
Visit your nearest Reliance digital or Digital express show rooms for a Demo of these Televisions. Alternately there are 3-4 videos of Anant Ambani launching the TVs at Reliance corporate office at mumbai. These videos can be some judge of quality of the panels before making a actual trip to the store.
You may also contact me for discount coupons for buying the TV from your nearest Reliance digital store, it will also help me earn a referral bonus. For the discount you will have to send me your mobile number and email on which you will receive the discount code.
