It appears Splinter Cell: Conviction's Xbox 360 release date is the only one set in stone. The release of the game's PC version has just been pushed back a couple of weeks.
Instead of hitting retail in early April as previously announced, Splinter Cell: Conviction for PC will now be released on April 27 and April 30 in North America and Europe, respectively. The launch date for the game's Xbox 360 version remains unchanged.
Ubisoft has not yet explained the delay, although its new DRM system may have something to do with it. It was reported earlier today that two of the company's PC games had been removed from Steam in the UK.

The delay is probably because they want the crackers to have a hard time as when they release AC II they will patch it up for Conviction

It won't even release on 29th April in India.Owner of Nextworld told me that they delay pc version in India because of the cheaper price in India. They want to sell as many as possible before releasing it in India.

Well, after many rounds to my local 'computer games' dealer (Alfa, Mumbai), I still haven't got my copy of Splinter Cell Conviction. Too bad for Ubisoft, I've settled for a pirated copy off the internet. How the f*** do you expect to ban piracy when you can't even launch the game on the same date worldwide!
I'm a hard core gamer & I hate it when I get deprived of a game.

S***w you Ubisoft... Hail Reloaded, Razer1911, SKIDROW!
