Ok, I want someone who has heard either the Wave or the Transcend MP860(wrong in title) to tell me what they think about the SQ from the 3.5mm socket. I used to have a Meizu miniplayer which used to have very good sq but it died after a four floor fall. So I ended up buying the transcend as I was in a bit of urgency then. Want to use either of these with my soon to reach me marshmallows. Also my transcend apparently has SRSWOW, SRSWOWHD, and SRSWOW custom settings. Can someone tell me what these custom setting might do and which would be a good value to leave them at? All of them range from 0 to 10:

TruBass
Focus
Center
Definition
Speaker(this has settings 60HZ, 100 and 150HZ)
Limiter(on or off)
And as the marshmallows dont perform well in the mids and highs will it help if I bump up the mids and highs in custom eq?
And is FLAC the best format for songs presently?
