I think these are nvme. nvme has single notch in connector, and sata ones has double notch.

Not necessarily, I have had one oem WD nvme which have double notch. Perhaps limited to oem though.

Dual notch (B+M key) means they are x2 lanes not x4. Could be SATA or NVMe with x2 lanes.

JFYI for buyers of Samsung PM9A1 SSD
If your PN ends with 00BDx then it's a DELL OEM SSD. You can upgrade the firmware for these SSDs using Dell's official upgrade tool

You should see something like this

Now there are multiple DELL OEM SSDs with the same model name, so do click the appropriate link (It's not an issue if you download the upgrade tool for incorrect model, it will fail with "disk not found error"). You will be able to update the firmware without any issues.

very slim, they are rare to find, maybe 1tb we can try and source, but 2tb not possible.

Need a couple of low capacity (120GB ideal, <=240GB) nvmes to use as server boot drives, lmk if you have any decent ones.
