Starting in September, China will implement regulations requiring all AI-generated content to be clearly labeled. - A positive move

I view this as a positive step. With the ability to create highly realistic videos of people, places, and events, it can become challenging to distinguish between genuine content and artificial creations. Clear labeling will help improve transparency and trust.

Enforcement will be the tricky part. Labels can be removed, metadata can be stripped, and not all platforms may comply equally. But at least it sets a precedent, and if other countries follow suit with similar policies, it might create a more standardized approach globally.

Internet is already taken over by Bots, soon all content will be replaced by AI bots. Its inevitable, we have to label whats real among the fakes soon.
True, and slightly off-topic but thinking about the scam implications with AI gives me the chills. We hear about so many even educated people losing their life savings to digital arrests and other scams. Use of fake voice and image/video impersonations etc using AI will really take it to the next level and need us to be on our toes always.
