Guys pls help
i have this really rusty pc in da office which is as slow as slow can be

i guess its because lotsa un-necessary programs are loading @ STARTUP
THE OS is windows 2000

pls suggest me an app that will remove those from the startup

and yes msconfig DOES NOT WORK :S

But if you are taking this only for Startup entries .. then better use Msconfig

To open this .. Start -> Run -> msconfig

Now in Startup program de-select the entries you want to remove

you can tryout Autoruns (freeware from Sysinternals/Microsoft)..It is very very comprehensive. (use Options/Hide Microsoft entries to reduce the entries)
