I'm having a hard time accepting this is real because of the asking price being just $5000. Anyone who's seen how much money is involved in steam market knows that amount is peanuts in comparison. If this was a real leak asking amount would have been more than 500k. Some people's inventory is worth more than that and a breach of 2/3rd of all steam account means it most likely would have those accounts included in the breach than not.

The easiest way to confirm the one who published that XDA article is stupid and wrong is to read what the listed source says. Notice the word "alleged". The same is not written once in the whole article. Very bold move to post the article like that without double checking with other sources.
