The latest research and development efforts by Everglide has culminated in the Fibretekâ„¢ cloth surface. Fibretekâ„¢ technology is dedicated cloth weave which is incorporated in the surface of each Everglide Titan.
The intricately woven fibres of the Fibretekâ„¢ surfaces ensures precise targeting and tracking without limiting the velocity or acceleration of mousing movements.

By optimizing the cloth weave and accordingly the manner in which conventional and high performance computer mouse feet move over its surface, Everglide’s Fibretek™ woven surface ensures an accurate and precise gaming experience without compromising on the friction-free mousing movements that Everglide mousing surfaces have come to be world renowned for.
Fibretekâ„¢ is the latest in cloth mousepad technology and incorporates cutting edge second generation cloth mousepad features in Everglide latest mousepad incarnation.

Deciding on which one to choose is a personal opinion. Both the Razer Mantis Speed and Everglide Titan are the same apart from the logo and a small price difference depending on the location you buy it from… personally I am using the Titan since I don’t like the huge green logo covering most of my desk. On a final note there is also a Razer Mantis Control mouse surface which is similar to the Control side of the ExactMat, this offers more resistance and a slower glide. I have not seen a similar product from Everglide yet.

Enuf proof? :P

^^ Size same doesnt mean that its the same Mat.

Its almost the same.

But the Surfaces are quite different from one another.

DD, Do you like rough or smooth pads better?

Rough, then QCK+, Smooth then the titan.

I shifted from a QCK+ to a Xtrac Ripper XL to a Mantis.

rough to smoother.

I like smooth pads better. Its upon personal choice.

Please try and stay on topic people, I really need answers.I wanna get it tomorrow :p

EDIT: Thanks Adi.Btw, how much is the mantis in bbay?

You don't get the mantis in bbay. You'd have to order it from razerzone for 24.99+10$. So comes to the same cost.

Then I guess the everglide is the right pad for me?

Im not sure, I havent used either the Steelpad Qck+ or the Everyglide...

I know they are both different kinds of pads but, I don't even know if I like rough surface or smooth surface...I just use my PC table ka mouse ka jaga without a mousepad for playing...

Is it good?

You asking me if the Titan is any good ??

Yes it is very good but I have never tried any other HI-FUNDA pad so I dont know how it compares with other brands. It is very smooth with my Logitech MX600 Laser mouse - I do not play games so dont ask me how it is for gaming.

Twice when I accidently flicked the mouse with a finger it went flying across the pad and was on the floor - I dont think this would have happened with my older Rs 25/- cloth top pads. :O

One thing I have found about this pad is that since the last few days as the Mumbai Humidity levels has gone up to 75% I have felt that I am using extra force for moving the mouse across the pad - some sort of drag has built up with the higher humidity levels - when I have my A/C on and the Humidity level falls to 50% the mouse moves much smoother.

Prime also has the Teflon pads for various models of mouse - he quoted me 700 for these - if I am not mistaken these pads are for using the mouse on a table - right ?

umm chaos is right about the everglide titan and the razer mantis speed being the same. the mantis speed is just a titan with a different print on top. i remember seeing this on the razer blueprints forum as well. as of now.. the everglide titan, the razer mantis speed and the everglide fnatic mat are 3 pads which are exactly the same but with different prints/designs on top.

about the question of qck+ vs mantis, imo when it comes to cloth pads its not really brand x > brand y. try and get a feel of both and see which suits you better. the friction on the qck+ was a bit too much for me. some people like that but i prefer low friction on my mousing surface. my friend's everglide titan felt good but it also offered a bit of resistance. some people find this mat to have a good balance between smooth sliding and control. i currently use a rantopad sc4 bought from australia. its a chinese brand which isn't too well known in mouse pad market but out of the lot it seemed to have the lowest friction and suits my game style. i like to turn down the ingame mouse sensitivity as much as i can and let my mouse slide nicely on the pad.

all of those 3 pads seem to have the same size... give or take a few cm.

if you want a LOT of friction, you could try the Razer Mantis control.
