Use both and see.
Ive used both along with my CH, and the Titan is definately rougher. Its outta experience and not Reading forums.
 
@chaos & ashr - i have both the pads at home n use both. enough proof or need any more proof that they are not the same. just cause its fibretek technology doesnt mean that the surface is same.

the titan is much smoother than the mantis speed even though according to chaos & ashr who say they are the same :-). 1st hand experience is always better than reading reviews.

either this or i could have got a defected piece of 1 of the 2 mousepads thats y both the surface are diff. lol

there is no chance that both the surfaces are same even though any site says it. referring to mantis speed & titan.
 
lol goldenfrag says titan is much rougher and b2 you say its much smoother :P many guys on esreality and razer forums (not reviews) saying they're exactly the same.
dunno who is right lol. i havent tried mantis speed only titan and mantis control.

no those pads aka mouse skates/surfers/feet are made for using the mice on hard surfaced pads which tend to wear out your original mice feet very easily. some examples of these kinda pads are the ratpadz, func 1030 (first one) and the icemat. using the mouse on a table is not recommended at all. the wood is harder on the feet than even those hard surface pads.
 
Its actually different with different mice too.
ThE Titan felt smoother to me, coz i have the Teflon Feet on my CH.
Bittu uses the 1.1 AFAIK.

Its actually different with different mice too.
ThE Titan felt smoother to me, coz i have the Teflon Feet on my CH.

just get a cheap pad :bleh: GOSH u guys spend rs 2k over a pad u can get two x series lee jeans :bleh:

I've gotta agree with u there. Tho im sure a lot of people would say otherwise. I wouldnt justify spending 2k on just a mousepad either, id rather have the jeans :bleh:

So you wont care, and you wont know the significance of it. Or the difference it makes.

For Gamers, a MousePad, means more than a Mouse, im sure Stormblast will agree with me there. For me, both are equally important.
 
its just like spending money on any other form of hardware. i could you ask guys why you'd wanna spend 40k to get the fastest processor there is when you can get a cheap 754 socket sempron.
 
^^I am a gamer, albeit not a hardcore one at that, but im still pretty much into gaming. I know how much difference a mouse makes. I personally havent used a professional mousepad so i cant comment on that, true it would help but ultimately it depends on the gamer. Im happy with a regular mousepad and until i have to dough to spend on a professional one it would suit me fine. Thats my personal opinion, i didnt tell DD not to buy it or anything.
 
Okey... Guys... I use a aluminium pad here... The X - PAD III from Cooler Master... And i feel its toooooooooo smoooth for my taste... Question to Goldy and Storm... If i shift to Titan Everglide... Will it feel the same or a bit rougher cause as of now its very difficult to control :P...
 
everglide titan is a cloth mousemat. as a rule of the thumb, cloth pads usually offer higher friction than hard surfaces and i'm almost certain you'd have more control with the titan. i can't say for sure as i haven't used an X-Pad.
