i found a very strange bug in firefox
i was trying to book a ticket online when i noticed it
if i go to airdeccan.net there are 2 boxes available for origin city and even when i click on the city name the destination city does not appear

screenshot : firefox and iexplore

and another thing i noticed was with cleartrip and makemytrip.com was that they take the date from ur system and not their servers..
so if u have the date set as xyz month 2002 .. it will show 1.5 yrs plus that date

someone should tell firefox of that bug

in short, the page is not 100% W3Certified.... the developer is the 'kal-pit'.

I'm not sure that the destination city does not appear *at all*. In my case the firefox window freezes for a couple of seconds and then the destination cities appear. This is a minor irritant while using Air Deccan's site from Firefox.

Whoops! Quick to reply without checking. I guess you're right. I just checked the website again and you're right -- the destination cities do not appear. What I described above used to be the behaviour some time back. Guess they've "upgraded" their website!

instead ,you can try telling the travel sites concerned . It has nothing to do with the browser. only the code maintained by the sites u mentioned above. I think they might appreciate the constructuve feedback .

will do that

I've written a small GreaseMonkey script to fix the stupid Air Deccan website. It brings the website back to the original behaviour (firefox freeze for 3-4 seconds after selecting the originating city). Hope that helps!

Just click on the following link to install the script http://userscripts.org/scripts/source/7038.user.js
(you'll need to have greasemonkey installed)

Note: I just figured out that the air deccan website is broken much more than I expected it to. This script will fail to fix the website if you've performed some search on the website in the past. It sets a cookie which mucks up the code even more. So, to get it to work, delete all the cookies from airdeccan.net and then reload. I'm fixing this in the meantime.
