Strange symbol on Android?

It shows as a strange kind of missed call on my call log. My daughter calls and my phone rings fine. If I reject the call I get the circular symbol on the bottom, but when the phone just does not ring, I get the circular symbol with an 'A' in it like the top four.

Tried re booting both phones too. Any suggestions? Any idea what the symbol means?

Edit: Found out. Somehow her number got on my 'black list'. Didn't even know this existed on my phone. Do all androids have this? Great to add all telemarketing numbers here.

Blocking your wife's number is a brave but a very risky thing to do!!

Yes most phones have the option to block/blacklist
