Hello,

Which game is better?

1. Empire: Total War
2. Napolean: Total War

Also, what other strategy games do you recommend?

Thanks
Crazysah

I've played empire total war but didn't like it its a turn based strategy.

Try Company of heroes I'll rate it as the best strategy game released after AOEII. Other good strategy games are :

CLOSE COMBAT ALL of them

Command And Conquer all

Age of Mythology + TITANS Expansion

Men Of War

Rise Of Nations

Age Of Empires 1

Age Of Empires 3 + expansions

I've never tried starcraft I'll be trying it pretty soon.

+1 for stronghold, AOE2 and 3, Age of mythology, rise of nations, company of heroes.

However, I think the OP wants only one of the 2 games that he has mentioned. He has probably played all of the above mentioned games already. Sorry dude, I havent played either of the games u mentioned. Cant help ya.. :(

I am not much of a fan of TBS hybrid games like Total War, but here is a list of RTS that I liked.

Age of Empires 1,2 & 3 with expansions.

Age of Mythology with expansions

Rise of Nations with expansion

Rise of Legends

Empire Earth II

C&C Tiberium Wars

C&C Red Alert

Company of Hero's

Men of War

Warhammer 40k series

Warcraft III

Warlords: Battlecry III

Supreme Commander.

World in conflict.

Universe at War

Played most of the games above.

I love the Age of Empires series.
Civilization series is also brilliant!

Only haven't played Company of Heroes and Warhammer 40K

Defense Grid : The awakening => A Tower Defense Strategy game, Very few titles have come under this genre, something different then usual RTS.

All suggested Ones are super titles.

Age of mythology

Age of mythology:Titan Expansion

Age of Empires III

World in Conflict.

Both are great, Napoleon is a newer version, keep in mind very CPU demanding, I played Empire, got hooked in no time

Company of heroes is hands down the best rts ever.
+1
Loved the campaign, was so disappointed that the expansion ignored single player.
Talking about disappointments, Dawn of War 2's single player

You can try Caesar 3..... A pretty old game, but has a nasty habit of surprising the player. Always challenging and a level can be played in 'n' no. of ways....
