yea, because u suck at it :P
but well CS clan from India, wonder why they loose at WCG in the initial stages :P

a good mouse and good mouse pad makes a lot of difference ;)

Its because of sucky net conns and lack of sponsorship :(
Not due to bad connections. Buit due to lack of sponsorships. Teams from other countries get paid to play the whole year. Even when not taking part in tourneys. In India, the teams have to pay for practise time also on their own. Also, they have to play for every stage of gaming.

lol u guys are really mistaken if u think good mouse & mousepad makes a diff. thinking u are gonna improve at a game.

its what u feel comfortable with & what u can play well with.

& hooligan ut2k4 is worse than cs btw for a competition game cause no1 even plays it, nice job to take up ut2k4 cause of no competition.

& i used this razor mouse for 2 days. was pretty sad, sensitivity is too high. it works properly only with the razor drivers which i dint find so good. but there are other ppl who do like the mouse. its all about the shape, if u are used to a mx300 or a mx310 then u should like this mouse a lot

i am using 1.1 myself since over 3 years. best mouse, no probs at all & cheap.

& my team also 3 of us use 1.1 & 1 uses mx510 & 1 ie3.

its all about the shape of the mouse, if u like the shape & comfortable with the click n feel, its all good

& rave it is not easy to win wcg or win against anyteam. 1st n foremost there is not good competition in india since there are only 4-5 top clans. other countries have 30 - 40 good top clans. they play whole day, they get paid to play, they get sponsored, & we dont.

plus playing against germany n france wasnt easy since they are the top5 - 10 teams in the world for any game.

last year when we played other teams we did pretty well & only dint qualify by 1 point.

using better mice & mousepads wont make that big a diff if u dont play good anyways.

fs prizes were not that good, we just 1 processor each 2800 64bit which costs 5000rs.

tt had slightly better prizes, same proc, fx5200 & antec slk1650
but the gaming scene seems to be going in the right direction atleast with some good companies sponsoring events.

cmon even tht is kindda better in INDIA....
seems like thngs r just starting
Also UT2k4 is a great game.......i dnt knwwhy its not in tourneys.....
can v hav one here smetme ...just for the sake of it

there are more ppl who play road rash than cs in India, so u mean to say roadrash is a better game? lol ,all I was telling was other FPS games have a steeper skillset and requires sh1tloads of more skills than cs :P
oh and BTW u can pwn any1 single-handedly with ball mice

and u have done a nice job in picking up a game with no good competition :P

chillax, dont take it personally man ;)

not taking it seriously.

u mean to say q3 & ut requires more skill than cs?

ur really dumb then i dont know what to say.

& also i dont think u have taken part in any nationwide tourney for ut1, ut2k3, ut2k4, q3 or cs. so maybe u should think a bit before you post. u can ask any top gamers in india what they feel about it. if cs requires less skill y dont u think top q3 or ut players in india play cs cause its there in wcg, no1 would want to let a free trip abroad go to waste.

& roadrash isnt the most played game in india. its cs. even kids below the age of 10 now play nfs & vice city rather than roadrash. atleast get ur facts right before u post something.

ps - i am only talking about these games how they are played in tourneys & professionally, so ut onslaught isnt counted. heh

Well dude, first of all, no pun was intended to you, atleast someone from India represented. ...

second of all, yes, i too think CS requres more skill than UT or Q3, though everyone has an opinion about this, so be it..

regarding the mouse part, well a good mouse wud really help ur game play, but not by a huge margin, i noticed considerable difference when i shifted from a ball mouse to a MS wheel mouse optical...

as in the mouse pad part, u know that sensitivity is kept at 2-3 in CS, so for that, u need a big mouse pad, also the material too does matter, try using glass or ur table top, it wudnt be as smooth as it wud be on a good mouse pad...

and regarding the gaming part in India, well it is growing surely, now more ppl know about online gaming and stuff soo good for us... ;)

i am not taking anything seriously, its an arguement where i thought some1 was wrong.

no game requires more or less skill. its all the same. once ur at the top ur skill level is same to the top players in the other games.

its like comparing cricket & baseball. both players are good in their own sport.
2ndly, i am not saying ball mouse & optical mouse will make a diff. it will make huge diff. i meant to say the optical mice available in the market. every1 uses diff mice according to their likes & what they feel right with.

3rdly glass & table top sux. use a cloth pad. if ur sensitivity is low u can use a bigger cloth pad like dkt or corsair pad. if u want something cheaper & not as big cause of less deskspace i can tell my friend to get 1 for u. he gets it made from somewhere in india.
& stay away from func n all those other pads made out of plastic or some other surface, like icemat etc, they will really screw up ur wrist badly after sometime, plus their surface always becomes bad after use.

so butto u r suggesting every1 that the learning curve for cs is same as that of q3 and ut? According to ur own facts its not so, since the learning curve is shorter, even kids below 10 play cs, and majority plays cs coz of the shorter learning curve. I never talked abt the professional level, even a stone throwing competition is hard at an international competition. I was talking abt the shorter learning curve...
& also i dont think u have taken part in any nationwide tourney for ut1, ut2k3, ut2k4, q3 or cs. so maybe u should think a bit before you post.

thats becoz ppl in India fail to realize that there are other games than cs, well I wasnt aware of Wcg till dec 2k2, then I went to wcg2k3 for ut2k3, lost to BurN, I was there, u can ask aakarsh or beZ. and I dint participate in any tourneys in this academic year coz I was in 12th, Now If I have missed any tourneys do let me know :).
