Never really thought that would happen.

I kinda hated Michael for being the best and spoiling the races season after season. Its like watching australia win every damn tournament. So naturally that hate got percolated down to the team he drives for, for no other reason at all.
Act I, Scene I

I dont know how many of you have this tendency but I always favor the second best when it comes to sports or competition. I want the second best to beat the best from right under his nose.

So well Mika becomes my favorite after he wins the championship. I also had inclination towards McLaren coz it was the car of choice during NFS2SE days. So adding it all McLaren becomes my favorite team.

Oh, and the safety car rocks. Which happens to be McLaren as well. :P
Act I, Scene II

Now enters KIMI, first he becomes the driver of choice coz he drives for McLaren. Within months he firms his place coz he is THE BEST.
Act II, Scene I

Schumacher finally leaves (notice I didnt say shoemaker this time), and KIMI goes to Ferrari !! Something that I didnt really want coz of the intrinsic/unjustified hatred for ferrari. :bleh: Boy it was fun to rub the ferrari fans. One of the main reasons behind that anti-ferrari stance.

Anyway, now that my favorite driver goes to ferrari so does my allegiance. Of course I would still support McLaren and inturn Alonso but KIMI is KIMI.
Even the ferrari fans have always liked his aggression and potential which stands justified when he wins the 2007 Championship and starts a new era of dominance.

Unfortunately that leaves no room for bickering and fighting. :ashamed:
So here I am, the new Ferrari fan :ohyeah:

So your saying that you hated Schumi?

Well, He was the best there ever was, and there ever will be! Period. :bleh:.
Kimi will never match upto Schumi. (Even though I do like Kimi, Quite)

each and every word u posted there hold true for me as well.

i was never a big fan of f1 or motor sport but one evening, i had nothing else to do. so i decided to check out how this shoemaker (i always heard in news) drives those fast and unusual looking cars. like you said, I also "favor the second best when it comes to sports or competition". i believe the second best needs more support than the best one. i knew this guy mika is in the running for the championship. then came that magical moment when mika overtook two cars (a backmarker and schumi) at one go. that was an awesome display of his talent and was enough to get me hooked on to my TV every race weekend. i became a big fan of mika and mclaren as a result. then came kimi and i started liking his style of driving.

i have nothing against schumi or ferrari. its not that i hate em but its that i like other teams and drivers more than em. watever, now since my favourite driver will drive for ferrari next year, i'll have to support those scarlet cars but i'll remain a mclaren fan for life. :D
 
That poor guy was richardo zonta :D Can't imagine what he felt like when his rear view mirrors suddenly were full of ferrari and mclaren :P
 
must say though, Zonta did his very best letting both McLaren/Ferrari pass thru. One of Mika's best drives and overtaking maneuveuuoirreerrr.. damn.. how do u spell it?
 
Ren- Sarkar/Huzoor- On the MIKA/KIMI part, aapne mere dil ki baat kahi- except the Alonso guy and hating Schumi/Ferrari!!:P
On that point, i am with QF!!

Mclaren- esp their roadgoing F1 car- i mean so many new gen fast cars still struggle to breach its 0-100mph mark!!:ohyeah:
But sometimes it pains me a lot- i think MIKA and KIMI suffered with them!!:(

In fact i like the colour red but not on a car- Silver arrow rules but Ferrari... err... what the Heck- anything for KIMI!!
I so wish Ferrari goes Black or Silver or what the heck... even Fluoroscent green next year!!:rofl:
I hope they dedicate their red legacy to the great Schumi and retire it with him for F1, at least till KIMI is with them!!:rofl:

I got a red cap already- a plain one- I will copy the Ferrari cap for next season except that KIMI will be in big and bold and FERRARI will be embroidered in some not so distinct part- Just in case i dont get an official cap that dont have KIMI in bold and FErrari much more subtle!!:rofl:

QF- me got that video- i see it at least once every week!!:P

and i agree, that scarlet color sucks but i doubt ferrari will change it :P

Wiki says "scarlet is the color of flame. It may also refer to the color of the blood of a living person." :P

That is precisely what i was trying to say.. McLaren all the way but there has to be a driver to support the team. Its KIMI over alonso anyday.

I don't know about image and audio quality of the clip i have, but yes, its watchable and listenable!!:P

The best part is when Mika explains his action in what he recollects as (one of) his best overtaking manoeuvres/maneuvers and in the end he says- "I don't know if THE MICHAEL liked it".:ohyeah:

If Ren permits, may i transfer it to him over yahoo and maybe he can arrange for something?:huh:

Guys dont misunderstand me. The SOLE reason behind my thread is, KIMI is moving over to ferrari. I have no other motive or affection for Ferrari and I dont even need to be baptised for that.. And on the contrary its ferrari which will ride on the back of KIMI for future success.

SO shut the **** up.
PS: its still ReNeGaDe.. red is perhaps the only color that I hate
 
When people say that they hate a basic color then that usually means all shades of that color.
So lemme rephrase for you, 'red (and all shades of it) is perhaps the only color that I hate'.
And it sucks all the more on vehicles.. be it bikes or cars or sports cars.
 
yup..now that kimi is ferrari, i guess i have to support it too, and all shades of red suck on vehicles..except wine-red :P
 
Well I never particurlarly liked Kimi during his McLaren days, but I'm sure he's gonna rock with a Ferrari and beat Alonso black and blue !

His sceaming pace coupled with the Fearrari's straight line speed is gonna blow the hell outta Alonso and Co. :P
