I bought it some weeks back...good drive...toshiba one inside it..but only 2 yrs warranty...

else try wd portable...i dont remember the model no..but has 3 yr warranty very sleek and small

transcend are good ...but very bad in service....lol... infact there is no service center in india. If any prob occurs u have to give it back to the shopkeeper.If ur always on a move...avoid transcend. Better get WD.

Transcend have a service centre in Chennai. They have a VERY GOOD service setup. So much so that they even replace components purchased abroad.

I bought a transcend storejet(the rugged brown/orange one) 250gb a month back. The thickness of the drive is more than my previous transcend casing. I'd suggest you to buy this eBay India: WD Western Digital Passport 320GB USB 320 GB Hard Disk (item 130303506976 end time 09-May-2009 00:00:00 IST) . After using 10% discount voucher, it comes to 3580 . looks better and weighs less than the transcend too. There's also 3yr warranty for the WD

4.5K for 320Gb portable? he's ripping you off simple. I can get one for 4K here. There's no catch involved. Ebay dealers sell at an aggressive rate so they get more volumes of sales than just profit margin.

I got this drive for 4.1K before 4 months and i am pretty happy with its performance... it looks so sleek and stylish unlike the transcend and comes with a 3yrs warranty unlike transcend 2yrs... Enquire more shops and get WD for around 3.7K
