PC Peripherals Suggest a 24/7 ULV Download Rig at Ultra Low Price

You could consider the following-
Sempron LE1250 1.6k
Nf6100 mobo- 2k
The atom combo is priced at 3.8k as per deltapage...
For around 3.8k you get a slightly powerful PC than atom&if you want to match power requirements of atom you can underclock it to 1ghz...dunno if anyone would agree with my statement since everyone would say why would he need a such powerful Pc for downloads..
I suggest u could consider the above config....
VIP 400 watts SMPS would be okay....

A low cost download rig ideally would be a second hand AMD/Intel platform like the old 939 based 3200+/3000+ or the Pentium 4/D and the likes.
A proccy + MB + a 512MB stick would fetch 2.5k~3k. Warranty being the only trade-off here. Most of them would have none but you can probably ask a week or 2 of testing warranty from the buyer.
These MBs would certainly come with at least 2 SATA conenctors; pair a HDD and a Zebby el-cheapo 400W supply. You're done apart from the input devices and the display.
Else the Intel Atom Combo might be the only low cost & low power solution.
For added portability and entertainment on the move consider the ultra-portable laptops like the Asus EEE, Acer Aspire One, MSI Wind etc.
