i have verbatim 16gb drive got from mediahome, give 15-20mbps write speeds, also have hp which gives only 3-5mbps write speeds and corsair gives 8-10mbps

My Voyager gives me an average of 12-14 MBps

If you have tight budget, then HP is one good option. Bought it recently and its giving 3-5 mbps transfer rate...
