Hi,

I am looking for a decent all in one tool kit which should include drilling machine, saw, players, tape and the screwdriver set with 90 degree bendable option.

max budget 2k

Request you to suggest the items, if you/your frieds has used. Any links would also be really great

Mods: Not sure where to post this thread. remove/move this if you feel this is the wrong section.

Thanks

for that budget you would chinese stuff - toolbox that contains all the listed items.

The set is OK, with no guarantees/warranties. That also means the drill may conk anytime.

These are widely available in many hardware shops/large format superstores like big bazaar, spencers hyper.

Wear safety goggles when you use the drill.

If you do get such a boxed-set I would suggest that you buy a Taparia make screwdrivers set. They are heard to beat i terms of quality.

Its better to get different tools for best quality! Don't go for a set.buy the things you need.and get a good quality drill like Eastman or something. Tools are bought once in a lifetime!

tool sets are a way of extracting money from noobs. plus the plastic molded box is a complete waste. get individual tools when required but get the best quality you can afford.

i have the taparia screwdriver set plus some other tools that are older than me and still work extremely well. infact they are better than the new ones which are fragile and break apart if you put too much force on them.

yep.. as everyone says.. taparia tools are of pretty good quality..

another very good company for tools is Eastman tools. but i am not sure how easily they will be available..

if price is not a big factor, you just blindly want the best, then Craftsman is considered one the best brands in the US. for hand tools as well as power tools. but their tools are gonna be expensive.

and check this out.. http://www.machpowertools.com/Products/Power-tools-Impact-drill/Bosch/Bosch-GSB13RE-Smart-Drill-Kit-with-Pocket-Screw-Driver/pid-985240.aspx

its a bosch toolkit. i dont think you need to worry at all about a bosch toolkit. Bosch is also one of the best brands in whatever it makes. its famous for automotive technology.

this website, machpowertools.com, also has a live chat support. so you can talk with them to get some recommendations regarding what you need.

^ That is very very overpriced. Prime example of why not to buy these tool sets.

A spirit level is around 100 bucks, the screws around 25-50 paise each according to size, the nylon or plastic plugs (fixings) for screws is around 15-20 bucks for a packet with 50 plugs.

Screw driver set for around 250-300, spanner set for same, hammer 150, drill bit according to sizes. The 13mm drill might be around 2 k max if bought separately.

Whole set actual price would be around 3k max. Dont buy online, buy from a shop.

well .. other cheaper options are also available on the same website....the above mentioned site does have a very extensive collection of power tools which are generally not easily available in every city. plus.. the quality should be better than the other toolkits which are generally available in the price range of 2.5 to 3K coz its Bosch. i am just assuming. i dont have any first hand idea about this. all i know is theres no quality worries with Bosch.

these are hand tools - you must handle/feel them physically I won't suggest buying on-line. There may be nasty shock (pun, intended!) when you buy online and open the package.

if you guys are able to find a decently priced toolkit with satisfactory quality, please let me know too.. i wanna buy too.. !!

tools are so much fun..

For drilling machine I would suggest electrex brand. Taiwan brand like "Force" "Kokun" have high quality socket sets available for 2K and most car mechanics use these brands compared to Taparia and eastman.
