Suggest a gift for Boss..budget around Rs. 5000

hi guys,

I need ur help. I need to gift my boss a gift for his birthday.
Please come up with suggestions.

ps: he is not a techie guy. :bleh::bleh:
 
I like giving big brass idols. Makes for a damn nice classic showpiece. Would/should come within your budget if you are not buying from a mall.
 
A wrist-watch perhaps? A decent one from Titan/Timex should be easily within that range.
 
Best gifts for men: Watches, Colognes, Gadgets (Music, Phones), Collector Zippos, Aged Scotch or other liqor (Black, Gold or Blue Label, Chivas, Glenfiddich), Cubans (Cigars) & accessories (Humidors, Cigar Cutters)

Never give him a voucher. It doesnt look good and would send the wrong message. Vouchers are only suitable for friends and family. If he is not tech savvy, is there something he is interested in? If u dont know anything specific, the usual watches, colognes, pens etc are the way to go as others have suggested.
 
+1 to voucher actually, especially if you are buddies (on good terms) with your boss.

if your boss is an asshole and you're just trying to butter him up, then voucher probably wont work, give him a gold pen/watch or something :P
 
Give him that SBI prepaid cards. they start from 1000 and go up. he can buy whatever he wants. :D.

Or else get him something he likes but he will never buy. for that u need to know him very well.
 
If i would gift anything to my boss, I would definitely be kicked out o office.

In case u need a promotion, then it's fine, go ahead and take the risk of gifting him/her.
 
Watch won't do. Chances are he has at least a 20-50k watch and won't wear a 5k watch. So, think of something else :P
