Please suggest a good 500 GB portable HDD.
I'm thinking of getting the Seagate GoFlex 500 GB for 3.5k.Is it any good?

Choose the cheapest from WD, Seagate or Verbatim. Should be available around 3.2K. I suppose all have similar warranties.

go for seagate do consider warranty as well seagate freeagent Go comes with 5yrs where as WD only 3 years, transcends only 1 year... got freeagent GO 500GB last week paid 3380 INR (net) from Jainex computers (1st floor)..

WD used to be good due to their home pickup & delivery service.
