Graphic Cards Suggest a graphic card

Well just for info , using two psu is very simple and proved benificial also , my UPS capacity can hold only cpu , mother board , ram basic stuff and last 5 mins , So I connected important stuff to one psu backed by ups , for other stuff like fan , cdrom ,secondary hardisk etc are powered by second psu which is not connected to ups. As an result when light goes (which usually happen in delhi) my UPS dnt trip .
 
I've seen nearly a dozen 9600gt's fail over the past 6 months in our lab because the psu's were not upgraded along with them. And from what I can tell the power draw from fans/drives/lights etc would be very less compared to cpu+gfx for the OP's computer. Unless it is safe to use separate power for the cpu and gfx card then I don't think there would be any significant gain in using two psu's in this case.
 
yea you can hotwire the psu's to run them along ... but its better to spend another 2.5k with the card than using both of them and then taking the gpu's life n after that realising how imp. is the psu n buying another card with a decent psu :P

thx for your advice guyz , I forgot to mention in last post , that I have replaced Icool (worst psu ever) with Intex psu (it rocks !!) . and I am very happy with the result , Its time for us to trust our desi Indian companies like Intex , instead of vdesi psu 's .

Intex one rocks :o You should have gone for Gigaabyte/FSP Saga for 1.5k instead :P
 
See if it's still the same after 2 months. I ran my 8800gs on intex 500w for about 1 month that then it began freezing up, crashing and artifacts on 3d, even on video playback. Not having enough money at that time for quality psu, I rather sold the card. Using psu till death might see graphics card die or you'd end up buying 2-3 such psu's before end of the year. 9800gt sucks more power and without branded psu, you'd regret not buying 5670. Just caution.
