I have chosen ati hd 4770 and gtx 260...?

I want 2 play games @ 1920* 1080 resolution and won't change in 3 yrs...

I will xfire it later...,will hd 4770 in xfire perform better than other ati cards...?

I have phenom 2 940 with gigabytes ga ma790gp- ud4h mobo and 4 gb Corsair rams powered by tx 750...'

Is this psu is enough to power 2 hd4770 and all the system in a cm 690...'

Plz suggest quickly as I will get it in a week...?

Your psu would be able to handle ati 4770 CF very comfortably. GTX 260 216sp would be better than ati 4770,if you play at hd resolution. ati 4770 CF would be as good as GTX 280.

Brother, TX750 can power four 4770 with ease. :)

As you have a budget of 10k, you can buy 4870 which is a better choice than 4770 and later you can crossfire it with another 4870. Crossfired 4870 are much powerful than CFX 4770. :)

P.S. - Seems like you just bought your rig, can you share the prices and the place where you bought the components with us ?

1>get the factory overclocked gtx 260
2> don go for the 4770,if u wanna play at 1920*1080 resolution!! go for the cf,if u still want the 4770
3>psu will power wit ease
its better to go for a single more powerful card,so go wit gtx 260/4890/gtx 275!!!

The 4770 is a great card based on the new 40nm fabrication process with very low power consumption. If you are not worried about power consumption, then go for the 4850 made from the 55nm fabrication process and hence higher power consuming.

Now that u plan to use the card for next 3 yrs and since ur mobo supports xfire, an ATI 4870 or 4890 (whichever your budget permits) would be recommended so that in future if you need more performance on HD, you can simply add another 48x0 which would then be available at dirt cheap price.

As far as the PSU is concerned, tx750 has enough juice to power two 4890's.

GTX 260 SP216, especially the Palit Sonic, has lower idle and average power consumption than a HD4870 and just a bit more at peak loads. In terms of performance/watt, the 260 is approx 10% better than the 4870, as can be seen here and here.

If you have an SLI capable board, adding on a second GTX 260 after the next round of price cuts should give a better boost than 4770CF at a bit more premium!
