Czar, what kind of pricing can I expect at the Grey Market for a 40" / 46" Bravia?

Also, since it doesn't come with a warranty, what kind of problems could I possibly have after purchasing it and what kind of costs would I run into for rectifying such problems?

A friend of mine runs a Sony Exlusive here in B'lore and can hook me up with a 46" for around 1,75,000.

Lastly are there any LCD panels larger than the 46 inchers?

buy Philips DVP 5965k/98. Its a better dvd player and plus it has usb direct so you can connect a 40gb external hdd via usb to it but it supports usb 1.1

For 40" or higher panels, I'd buy nothing but philips... there are in a league of their own. Put any other LCD TV beside a philips and u'd hate it. If you have all the moolah to burn, get the Philips 42PF9830/10. Its true HD i.e. 1920x1080 and supports 1080p and AFAIK has a 12bit S-IPS panel.

@satan
