p4 3.2Ghz
2GB kingston 667
xfx 8600gt xxx edition
sony dru 190a dvd drive
500gb seagate 7200.12
2 80mm case fans

i m planning to upgrade to core2duo (maybe e7600 or e8400) and a mobo

so please suggest me a good psu

after searching some buying guides I found this psu
Zebronics PRO 600W Power Supply
tell me is it worth to buy:huh:
and also, is it's safe to put this psu(or of the same type) in my cabinet ??
it'll be too close to the cpu and i think it might disturb the airflow

Even though VX 450 is OVERkill for you, it would suffice for your future IF you're upgrading otherwise in your case VX 450 isn't even going to be tested. Even Corsair CX 400 is enough for that config.

VX450 all the way if you want to fully spend all your cash. Its better than any PSU below the range but you don't need one. Your computer won't need more than 200W in full load period! Buy a Zebronics 350W and save money :)

But if you're going to upgrade soon and get a 9800GT and above, then you can consider buying a VX450. Otherwise its just pure waste of cash. But nothing like one. Good luck! :D

Though overkill for ur current config, VX450 should be future proof.
Caution only if u are going to buy a very high end GFX card later that might need more powerful PSU. In this case go for Gigabyte 450w

Corsair Vx450 can support a system with E8400 CPU , HD4890 GFX card and couple of 1 TB hdds.
