You can go for AMD 7850 or 270x. It can be ASUS, Sapphire or MSI. My choice would be Sapphire.

Going for Asus r9 280x, will it work fine with my rig?

I'm guessing that the res you play at is 1080p and R9 270X has no problems handling all modern games out there at Ultra settings at playable frame rates (over 30 fps). Unless you are playing at a higher res, it doesn't make sense to go for R9 280X.

Check in your local market for the R9 280 (non X), they are selling for around 16k.
