Suggest a watch to buy from US- Budget($100-$200)

Hi All,
My friend is returning from US so I'm planning to buy a watch Preferably automatic.
So please suggest some good models.
Preferred Brands: kenneth cole , Invetica and Seiko.
Budget : $100-$200
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Under 200 bucks the most recommended one is Seiko Black/Orange Monsters in WUS. If you like that style then that's a great choice. However I like the look of Seiko Stargate much better than those Monsters.
Another choice I'd say would be Orient, this model in specific, http://orientwatchusa.com/cdb05001b
If I were you I'd go for a used unit at that price.
 
If its your first auto, go for a Seiko, have a happy experience, so that you can scale up in the future with a :happy:.
 
whats your take on Kenneth cole automatic watches i'm kinda impressed by how they look, but not sure abt accuracy of the movement .
 
I have heard movements used in kenneth cole are Chinese made and may not be accurate ,, they may skip 30~40 sec a day !! but seiko watches are more accurate.
 
Do you like Fossil watches? I bought this one a long time back... it has an automatic and quartz movement:

There are several models in the "Fossil Twist" category... mine is ME1012 with Black Steel and it was less than $200 back then. There's another series by the name "Mechanical Twist"... name suggests that it's automatic but I can't confirm. See if you like any model.

I can't comment on the movement/accuracy of my Fossil watch as I don't wear it regularly (I have lots of other watches too)
 
Seiko or Orient. The Seiko 5 range is also nice. Check out the SNK803 / 09 and its variants. To be honest, nothing can get better than this. It is an automatic, has aesthetic appeal, and you will probably faint when you see the price. $:Value, ratio is great.

@asingh yep they are great value for money but 37mm dail is tooo small for a sports watch.
@OP why no love for Citizen? They have some great pieces in your range.

Seiko Skx007 or Orient Mako.
Have both of them. For me Mako is very accurate, but Skx007 with a aftermarket strap is quite a looker. You cant go wrong with either of them

Stay away from invicta.
In 100-200 $ range. Go with Japanese brands - Seiko, Orient, Casio, Citizen

It looks just fine. Believe me, I have seen it in real...! But ya, some people prefer bigger dials for sports watches.

The SKX is a classical diver. One can never go wrong with it. Yea...!
